Cadillac Mountain, with a height of 1530 feet, is the tallest mountain on the east coast. Between October and March, Cadillac sees the earliest sunrise in the country. In the summer, you can expect sunrise between 4:30am and 5:30am. Sunset is also a popular time to appreciate the view. Check exact sunrise/sunset times.

The only restrooms on Cadillac Mountain are adjacent to the Eco Store. Note: the Island Explorer Bus does not go up Cadillac Mountain Summit Road.
